Mathematics is one of The Reach Free School’s specialist subjects. As well as being taught discretely to every pupil, every day through their school life, it is incorporated into lessons across the curriculum, teaching our pupils that the art of mathematics is a skill for life.
Key Stage 3
At Key Stage 3, schemes of learning cover:
- Number and Operations
- Algebra and Equations
- Shapes, Space and Measure
- Probability and Statistics
Key Stage 4
All of our pupils are take GCSE in Mathematics at the end of a two-year course as it is a core subject and contributes to the English Baccalaureate.

In our Sixth Form, pupils will have the opportunity to study for A levels in Mathematics with Statistics or Mechanics. We also anticipate offering courses in Business Studies and Economics.
