The Reach Free School celebrates their first set of GCSE results
I am extremely pleased with our first set of GCSE results. Early indications show that the school has performed in line with its high expectations. It is the culmination of five years of hard work by the pupils and they should be absolutely thrilled with their performance in these newer, tougher GCSE’s. 70% of all GCSEs were at grade 4 or above with 20% at a grade 7 or above. There were grade 9s (the highest grade) in a range of subjects across the board, including English, Mathematics and Science.
These results are a solid foundation from which the school can grow and means we are able to move to our new site in September, knowing that our first cohort of pupils have done themselves, their families and the school proud.
A big thank you to the staff for their effort, hard work and for the incredible support they have offered to all of our pupils over the last five years.
Well done Year 11! I wish you all the very best.

On behalf of the Governing Body I want to congratulate all the Year 11 pupils and thank them and their families, who showed faith in the school from day one. The Governing Body also appreciate the hard work and efforts of all the staff who have supported these pupils over the years.
