The Reach Free School celebrates results in strange circumstances
As you will be aware, there has been a significant amount of upheaval and controversy with the grading of 2020 A level and GCSE results. I am pleased to say that all of our A level students were successful in moving onto their first choice university or future pathway, and we were not impacted by the examination scandal in the way other schools have been.
For our year 11 pupils, the Government changed the process and all pupils received their ‘Centre Assessed Grades’, which were determined by their teachers. While the pupils received these calculated grades this year, we must not take away the fact that they had put in years of hard work to get to this point and they are now able to take the step in their education. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the pupils for their hard work and efforts and to the staff who supported them every step of the way.
