Key Stage 3
In Key Stage 3 PE, each pupil’s sporting skill is developed and a healthy appetite for competition instilled alongside the important qualities of team spirit and sportsmanship.
Pupils enjoy two double lessons of PE each week, usually in single sex groups. We have excellent facilities on site, including a 4-court Sports Hall, astroturfed MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) and spacious field.
A range of activities are taught to both boys and girls including: Football, Rugby, Netball, Gymnastics, Dance, Rounders, Cricket, Athletics and Swimming.
Key Stage 4
All pupils will continue to participate in PE lessons in years 10 and 11 as part of their core curriculum. However, pupils may choose to select to follow the Cambridge National in Sport as part of either the standard or bespoke curriculum.
At Post 16 pupils are able to choose to study the Cambridge Technical Sport qualification
