National Allocation Day – 1st March 2019
On 1st March 2019, Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) notified parents, guardians and carers of the school place their child has been allocated for September 2019. Details of our allocations for this year, and for previous years, can be found here. If your application to The Reach Free School has been successful, you will receive a letter from the school confirming the offer of a place.
If you have not been successful in your application to the school, we will email you with details of your child’s position on the continuing interest list, together with information on how to appeal.
The school does not accept new allocations during the first round of continuing interest, but if you would like to apply for a place for year 7 from September 2019 then we are accepting new applications in the second round of continuing interest from 26th March 2019. These applications will need to be made directly with HCC. The school coordinates its own applications from late May onwards.
The Reach Free School holds its Year 6 Transition Day in July each year. This is an opportunity for the new year 7 cohort to visit the school and meet their new peers and teachers. We write to parents, guardians and carers in May with details of this event.
