Sixth Form Open Evening - Thursday 14th November
Here we strive for academic excellence in every area of the curriculum and, through a rigorous process, set challenging, but achievable targets, for our pupils. Through high-quality teaching, in modern facilities, pupils demonstrate their thirst for learning. This, along with a personalised approach to education, is what makes this school a very happy and cohesive environment.
Having been the Headteacher at the school since it opened in September 2013, I have made it my mission, and that of my staff, to constantly strive for the best. Reflecting on over a decade of success, we continue to look at ways we can ‘make it better’. This has resulted in a thirst for constant improvement, and covers our curriculum, the outcomes our pupils achieve, as well as the overall education experience. Young people have a finite time in secondary school, and our role is to make it the most successful and enjoyable it can be.
As a school, the core of our ethos is one we refer to as ACE: Achievement, Community and Enjoyment. Since day one, this ethos has permeated all aspects of school life and can be observed every day in our classrooms and corridors. Be it in the achievements of pupils in their core lessons or elective sessions, the planning of local projects for Reach Beyond, or the enjoyment of sporting pursuits in our top-class facilities, pupils excel at The Reach Free School.
Please take a look through our website, peruse our newsletters, and I look forward to welcoming you to our school.
